  Chiangrai city is not big compared to Chiangmai, and it is not a city sheltering plenty of highlights, but it is charming and genuine and is still frequented by ethnic minorities living in the mountains around and coming in town to sell their goods

   

  You will of course visit the local market, very colorful, where it is possible to watch local women wearing the traditional clothes of their tribe.

   

  Along this excursion we will bring you to the ‘White Temple’… This art masterpiece is covered by sculptures and decorated by frescoes as weird as incredible…

   

  But you will also visit the ‘Black House’… Residence and atelier of the local artist Thawan Duchanee who passed away. You will admire part of his work exhibited in the gallery of the property

  -           Visit the little downtown and the local market
