Pick-up from English speaking cruise staff at your hotel in Luang Prabang or at the airport (arrival around noon) – Joining-up transfer by a/c vehicle to the pier and board on the vessel

 

Lunch at leisure and not included

 

Afternoon:

Short city tour is organized by the cruise – Visit the main temples in the very city center (Classified by UNESCO) – Back on board – Welcome reception on board

 

Dinner served on board

 

Overnight onboard – Individual cabin with private bathroom

 

 

Day 2 Luang Prabang – Tha Deua

Meals: B / L / D

 

Passage by the daily procession of monks begging for food (participation possible and optional)

Start navigation down river with observation of the life on both banks of the river

 

Lunch served on board

Afternoon:

Continue navigating down river with observation of the life on both banks of the river – The boat is moored for the night

 

Dinner served on board

Day 3 Luang Prabang – Tha Deua

Meals: B / L / D

 

Breakfast served on board

 

Morning

Start navigation down river with observation of the life on both banks of the river. Along this part of the Mekong, far from civilization, nature is just amazing and the wild river will make this journey looking much as a real expedition

 

Lunch served on board

 

Afternoon:

Continue navigating down river with observation of the life on both banks of the river – A stop is done to visit an ethnic village along the banks – Back on board and continue navigating – The boat is moored for the night

 

Dinner served on board

 

Overnight onboard – Individual cabin with private bathroom

 

 

Day 4 Tha Deua – Kruang Si

Meals: B / L / D

 

Breakfast served on board

 

Morning

Start navigation back up river with observation of the life on both banks of the river. After a while, disembark and go by local tuk-tuk to the famous Kruang-Si waterfalls – Visit the waterfalls - Back on board and continue navigating

 

Lunch served on board

 

Afternoon:

Continue navigating up river with observation of the life on both banks of the river –The boat is moored for the night

 

Dinner served on board

 

Overnight onboard – Individual cabin with private bathroom

 

  

Day 5 Kruang Si – Pak Ou – Luang Prabang

Meals: B / L / D

 

Breakfast served on board

 

Morning

Re-start navigation up to the superb and mystical Pak Ou Cave. The cave shelters Buddha statues and overlooks the Mekong river and all the surrounding – Walk through the jungle (optional) – Visit a local ethnic village, where people distillate local alcohol Back on board and continue navigating

 

Lunch served on board

 

Afternoon:

Continue navigating down river to Luang Prabang with observation of the life on both banks of the river – Arrival in Luang Prabang, where you are free to walk along the banks of the river or discover the little colorful night market or even the Mount Poussi, before embarking for the last night The boat is moored for the night

 

Farewell dinner served on board

 

Overnight onboard – Individual cabin with private bathroom

 

Day 6 Luang Prabang

Meals: B / - / -

 

Breakfast served on board

 

End of the program – You disembark the vessel before 10AM and are being transferred by the staff to Luang Prabang airport or to your hotel, within city limits
