In most cases, tourists visiting Sukhothai get there by plane departing from Bangkok. On the other hand, getting to Chiang Mai from Sukhothai is not possible by plane, and the only alternative is the road.

We offer this tour of 2 days between Sukhothai and Chiang Mai for people wishing to discover this unknown and rarely visited part of the country. During those two days, you will visit Sri-Satchanalai (registered by UNESCO), the very ancient temples of Lamphun and Lampang and the Royal Elephant Conservation Center

Free time at leisure until late morning

Pick-up by your English speaking guide at the lobby of your hotel in Sukhothai – Departure by private a/c vehicle to Lampang – Visit the Historic Site of Sri-Satchanalai (UNESCO)

Visit the ancient temple of Wat Phratad Lampang Luang –– Drop-off at your hotel by late afternoon

Overnight at Lampang River Lodge – Standard Room

Day 2 Lampang - Chiang Mai

Morning:

Biking tour through the countryside surrounding your hotel and in the small town of Lampang - Road towards Chiang Mai – Visit the Lampang Royal Elephant Conservation Center

Lunch served in a local restaurant

Afternoon:

Back on the road to Chiang Mai – Visit the small town of Lamphun and its ancient Mon temple – Arrival in Chiang Mai and drop-off at your hotel by mid-afternoon
