This very cute little boutique hotel is hidden in a very quiet part of downtown Chiangmai. Though at a stride from the Night Bazaar area, the neighborhood of Manathai has remained preserved from big constructions and still has the soul of quiet countryside hamlet.

A perfectly cozy atmosphere makes guests at ease in this northern adorable oasis. The little compound hosts a main house sheltering the lobby, the little internet corner, the reception lounge and the restaurant at the upper floor.

The lobby/reception is open to the pool bar and the swimming pool, occupying the centre of the compound.

The 29 rooms (Deluxe, family rooms or suites) are hosted in several white painted 2 floors pavilions, displayed in U shape around the swimming pool.

The rooms are very compact, but smooth cocoons, warmly decorated. All rooms feature Air conditioning, complete bathroom, refrigerator, mini bar, telephone, satellite television, CD and DVD players, safe, hairdryer, etc.

Manathai is a very well achieved blend of Northern Thai architecture and European decoration. It reminds somehow an old hostelry in Normandy, thanks to the white painted stucco contrasting with dark brown beams widely used by the architect. Small size pavilions and rooms help to keep the warm atmosphere of this charming address.
