Mai Chau, located at about 150 km from Hanoi, is situated in the province Hoa Binh. What makes Mai Chau attractive to tourists is the mere beauty of its landscapes… Rice fields, picturesque hamlets, fertile plains and mountains, topped with tropical jungle

This place is more and more visited by local tourists and foreigner visitors… Besides some hotels here or there, one can also find homestay accommodation… Mai Chau is particularly photogenic and the region is ideal for nice bike rambles

Local population, mainly from Black Thai or White Thai ethnics live according to their traditions and build their houses on wooden pillars, quite similar to those one can observe in Northern Thailand, Southern China, North-west of Laos or Western Shan State, where Thai Yai, Thai Leu, Black Thai and White Thai are widely present.

We have prepared a short 3 days’ program, with possible extensions for nature lovers and ‘green retreats’ fans. We organize round-trip transfers and accommodation is a small charming hotel. Having a local guide is not totally indispensable, but we can add guide service on request
