Day 2 Champasak – Bolaven Plateau

Pick-up by your English speaking guide at your hotel lobby – Private transfer by a/c vehicle – Visit the colonial town of Champasak and the Vat Phou Khmer temple

Afternoon:

Back on the road to the Bolaven Plateau – Stops at Tad Fane waterfall and Tad Yeaung to visit local ethnic villages, such as Lao Loum, Ta Oy or Laven – Arrival at your hotel by late afternoon

Day 3 Bolaven Plateau

Morning:

Pick-up by your English speaking guide at your hotel lobby – Private transfer by 4x4 to the coffee plantations near Paksong – Visit the Khamsone farm specialized in coffee cultivation (coffee tasting included) – Visit a cave and Tad Say or Tad Khao waterfalls (depending on weather and track conditions) – Continue to the Ban Xed Khod village of the Laven ethnic group

 

Lunch served in a Laven ethnic village

 

Afternoon:

Back on the road and stop at a local agricultural plantation, then at Tad Mealouk Waterfall – Road by 4x4 to Tad Moun Waterfall where you will be able to swim – Back to your hotel by late afternoon

Day 4 Bolaven Plateau – Xe Pian

Morning:

Pick-up by your English speaking guide at your hotel lobby – Private transfer by a/c vehicle to the biodiversity nature reserve of Xe Pian – Discover the reserve

 

Lunch at leisure and not included

 

Afternoon:

Resume the discovery of the reserve, including an elephant ride to the peak of Phou Asa Mount – Arrival at your hotel by late afternoon

Day 5 Xe Pian – Don Khone

Morning:

Pick-up by your English speaking guide at your hotel lobby – Private transfer by a/c vehicle to Ban Tha Muang. Embark on a motorized pirogue and sail down towards Don Det and Don Khone. In Si Pan Don the Mekong River is 14 kilometers wide and is literally split up by a myriad of islands and islets.

Visit Li Phi falls, close to the border with Cambodia – Here, one can observe Irrawaddy pink dolphins (optional) – Arrival at your hotel by late afternoon

Day 6 Don Khone - Pakse
